A resident of Nokomis and a mother of three, Martha is active in the community. She served as the chairperson for the Venice High School Alumni Association's annual golf tournament as well as multiple Habitat for Humanity fundraisers. Martha was a community board member with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Florida and volunteered as a youth mentor. She is a former commissioner for the Sarasota County Planning Commission.
